Common Middle School Math Struggles

Are math assignments a source of stress in your household?

Does your child find it challenging to excel in math assessments at school?

Do discussions about math sometimes lead to tension between you and your child?

Perhaps you feel uncertain about how to effectively support your child with the modern approach to math instruction?

I’ve listened to countless parents express their frustration with the challenges math poses both for them and their children. It saddens me to hear how much math can strain family dynamics. However, there’s hope! Math doesn’t have to be a constant source of struggle.

I’m passionate about working with students to alleviate their math-related frustrations. While I can’t promise that every math problem will be a breeze, I can certainly help identify areas where students commonly face difficulty and make math a more approachable subject for them. Let’s work together to transform math into a positive and manageable experience for your child.

“The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it, even (or especially) when it’s not going well, is the hallmark of a growth mindset.”
